Mama Teresa’s Story
The original Mama Teresa’s opened in the 1980s, in Crystal Beach on the Bolivar Peninsula. Patrons to that restaurant enjoyed 25 years of delectable Italian fare and hand-tossed pizzas.
That venue was lost to Hurricane Ike, but they’ve now reopened in downtown Galveston, near the corner of Postoffice and 21st Streets.
From crispy calamari, to delectable entrees like chicken and pasta with olive oil, or garlic and shrimp fettuccine alfredo, Mama Teresa’s is establishing a reputation for some of the finest authentic Italian cuisine in Galveston. Of course, it goes without saying that they are also baking some of the best pizza you’ll ever enjoy.
Mama’s is back – better and more authentic than ever.
